The media has definitely forgotten about the wars that we are fighting right now. The media needs to take this song and run with it. We should be reminded on a daily basis what the men and women of our military forces give up for our freedom every day. Let us not forget the sacrifices their families give as well. This song tells it all and it needs to be heard by the American people. Good Luck Warren and Thank you !!!

I think this is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard as a "stand alone" song. The fact that it honors our Purple Hearted Heroes is certainly an added bonus, and believe it is a "song that transcends time" and hopefully will be adopted very soon as The Song to Honor Our Purple Hearted Heroes. My husband was a Purple Heart Veteran  This particular song would be a great addition in speaking to the heart of the Purple Heart Veterans and honor them in a way that has never been done before. They deserve this honor. Sadly, my husband passed away Thanksgiving Day of 2003 of diabetes related causes that were related to his exposure to Agent Orange while in Vietnam. That was not something he got a Purple Heart for... but maybe he should have. His Purple Heart was earned when his tank hit a land mine and he was burned badly. For all those who have suffered with diabetes from Agent Orange exposure--I think you should get a Purple Heart as well. You sure have been injured in the line of duty. Bless you all --each and every one and Thank You for all the sacrifices you have made in serving our country. We all owe you a debt of gratitude that we can never repay enough. Peace and Love to you all!!! Kentucky United States of America
